Not much to say, it speaks for itself.

Even Star Trek supports Socialism. Episode is Bar Association, where Rom starts a Union against his greedy brother Quark.

OH GOD YES! XD
I'm sending this to my Chemistry professor, she's a huge star trek fan (but sadly right-wing >_>).

Now that is weird. Gene Roddenberry's entire Federation revolved around the idea of socialism. So for your teacher to be right wing and a trekkie is backwards.

Is that so?
I'm afraid I don't know too much regarding Star Trek.
All my knowledge comes from when we have overtime in the lab, in which she puts on some Star Trek, haha.

Yeah, I follow Star Trek a little too closely. Mostly for the archetypes used to describe certain alien societies that reflect America. DS9 is a great show for part-time watchers.

Working towards firefighting and EMS.

And could somebody please call Master's mommy.  His dirty diaper is making him cranky and annoying.

Firstly, Master is simply, how can I put this, "tired of your shit", if you will. He's simply annoyed that you post Anti-Communist comments onto a Communist group, which frankly, I too find quite annoying. There are groups in support of Capitalism, yet you don't see me going there and arguing. That's because, they can't change my views, and I can't change theirs. It simply becomes a degenerated argument that annoys everyone.

Secondly, I'm not sure what EMS stands for. Would it be "Emergency Medical Services"?
Anywho, it's great that you're benefiting society! That's something most people in support of Capitalism don't do.

Well, since you are working in firefighting, I sincerely hope you remain safe. However, in the unlikely (and hypothetical) situation that you get horrifically burned, and your employer (most likely, if in the US) is refusing medical care to you, you will see how much Socialism would benefit you.

Also, in case you're wondering, I am currently studying in order to become a doctor; a neurosurgeon to be specific.

I didn't ask for your opinion on my comment, did I?  And I post on these kinds of pages because commies have this "Only the rich/business owners oppose us.  We are the voice of the working man" mentality, and I prefer to show that not every worker goosesteps to their tune.  Free-market capitalists already know this, so what do I have to gain from telling it to them?

And I've yet to see master do anything but foam at the mouth at anyone who doesn't go along with his views, so he must be tired of life.  I can at least hold a respectable and rational debate with a commie up until they play dumb one too many times.

"Secondly, I'm not sure what EMS stands for. Would it be "Emergency Medical Services"?

Yes, it does, and no, I'm not benefiting "society".  I'm benefiting INDIVIDUALS who are victims of nature and thumbing my nose at the idea that mankind is nature's most fragile creation.  There's no such entity as "society"; the term merely applies to individuals who have chosen to live together rather than alone on a deserted island.  I'm doing this because I value the individual, not some formless entity that cheapens him/her.

And as much as you'd like to think otherwise, capitalists most certainly do benefit other people.  A true supporter of free-market capitalism knows that the only way he'll make money is by offering a value, in the form of either a good or service, to his fellow man in exchange for the value of their money.  Medicine, healthcare, health insurance, cars, homes, electronics, food, clothes and all the other things we have in life were made because of someone's desire to make money and offer the best value he had to offer for the best value other people had to offer.

"Well, since you are working in firefighting, I sincerely hope you remain safe. However, in the unlikely (and hypothetical) situation that you get horrifically burned, and your employer (most likely, if in the US) is refusing medical care to you, you will see how much Socialism would benefit you."

Hahahahaha!

It won't be socialism that benefits me, friend; heck, according to socialism, I exist for the sake of others and am expendable, so I'd probably be tossed aside like garbage in a socialist world if that happened.  No, it will be the INDIVIDUAL or INDIVIDUALS who put in the time and effort to gain the skills that will help heal me who will benefit me, and it will be the INDIVIDUALS whom I've become valuable too who will support me.  You clearly don't understand the relationship between firefighters and EMTs to make a comment like that.

"Also, in case you're wondering, I am currently studying in order to become a doctor; a neurosurgeon to be specific."

Good for you, and I can say you're doing it because YOU want to do it, not simply because "society" would benefit from such a person.  And I hope that after you've accomplished this, you will realize your value as an individual and not cheapen yourself by allowing yourself to be defined simply as a dot among many dots.
